Morgan Meis

Morgan Meis is a contributing editor for The Smart Set, for which he writes two weekly columns: Idle Chatter and Non-Canonical. He is also an editor for 3Quarksdaily.com, for whom he also writes a semi-regular column called Monday Musings. He has contributed to Harper’s and The Believer. He also started, and for many years ran, an arts organization/collective called Flux Factory, which made collaborative installations. He received a PhD in philosophy from the New School for Social Research, where he wrote his dissertation on Walter Benjamin.
