(Short-Form Writing)
Cameron Shaw is a freelance writer who regularly contributes Critics’ Picks to
Artforum.com
. Her articles on art and television have appeared in
BOMB
,
ArtUS
,
SZ-Magazin
, and
ArtinAmericaMagazine.com
. She wrote the feature essay for a catalogue on Marcel Dzama; another on Chris Ofili has just been released. Shaw, who received a BA in the history of art from Yale University in 2004, is most interested in the work of women and artists of color, as well as work that develops the visual discourse surrounding those communities. Currently based in Brooklyn, she is relocating to New Orleans, where she hopes to draw attention to the city’s growing arts community.
