investigates the creative process. It is an experiment designed to increase understanding of art, architecture, film, and other fields by examining technique, experience, inspiration, influence, and context. Temporal, subjective, and accretive, this blog has become a useful platform for synthesizing ideas, making unanticipated connections, and asking and answering the questions that arise from making and engaging with art.
For several years after earning an MBA at the University of Pennsylvania and working in business, Greg Allen collected art, which led to formative relationships with artists. He has written and directed documentary short films, including
