Jasmine Weber will write a series of articles on the historically Black beach enclaves in Sag Harbor, New York, and their artistic histories, from the early home designs of the self-taught architect Amaza Lee Meredith to the abstract artists’ communities that today live and work on Long Island’s East End.

Jasmine Weber is a writer, editor, and artist based in Brooklyn. Her writing has appeared in publications including Burnaway, Cultured, Hyperallergic, and Seen. In 2021, she was awarded a Rabkin Prize for visual arts journalists.
