Kim Córdova will write a series of articles about the political economy of contemporary art with a focus on the relationship between contemporary practices, cultural identity, and social change in Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
Kim Córdova is a Mexican-American artist, writer, and independent curator. Her writing has appeared in Artforum, ArtReview, e-flux Criticism, frieze, Mousse, Momus, the New York Times, Open Space, and several artist monographs. She is the recipient of grants and awards from CEC ArtsLink, Eisenhower Fellowships, the Fulbright Program, and the Tbilisi Architecture Biennial.
