Nadia Jackinsky-Sethi will write a series of articles documenting Alaska Native arts technologies and artists from an Alaska Native perspective, with a focus on land-based practices and customary materials such as cedar bark, fish skins, beach grass, and ivory.

Nadia Jackinsky-Sethi (Alutiiq) is an art historian, museum consultant, and writer. She is inspired by the concept of sovereignty and the idea that the arts connect us across generations and cultures. Jackinsky-Sethi serves on the board of Museums Alaska and the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation.
